- I was born in the US, and have been living and creating in Jerusalem since 1980. At times, I feel like an acrobat, bouncing between two competing, yet complementary cultures. Likewise, my artwork is a balancing act: I juggle my commitments to serious artistic concerns, and to Jewish traditions and beliefs, with pleasure from adventures in colour, pattern and temperament.

I logged in much too late to Facebook, to get your note. I am glad to see that you are going to mentor with Michael. I can not say enough great things about Michael, and my growing as an artist, with his guidance.
My husband was born in Haifa, but he moved to the U.S. when he was 5. We have yet to visit Israel.

Do to my old computer's infirmity, may it rest in peace, my mentoring will only begin tomorrow. `I'm excited.
As for your not yet having visited Israel, I can either extend my warmest invitation, and tell you that unlike in smiley, friendly California, there is never a dull moment here. Or I can put on one of my typical Jewish parent guilt trip acts (the kind that Michael finds so exotic) and ask you, "WHY NOT?!?!?"
